About Sap

We at Classteacher are aware that a lot of "learning" that happens in our schools today turns out to be rote memorisation, lacking in-depth comprehension of the concepts. Merely knowing the facts is inadequate for the all-round personality development of the child. Meaningful education must aim at a shift from imparting mere ‘facts’ to developing ‘skills’, and encourage ‘learning with understanding’, thereby developing faculties of critical thinking in the students. Learning becomes an engaging and interesting process and the students are equipped to face new and unfamiliar situations.
With this purpose in mind, Classteacher Learning Systems conducts Skill Assessment Program (SAP) for students of classes III to X.  This program consists of a test that helps pinpoint students’ strengths and weaknesses and also provide a benchmark with their peers. The students will be tested in three key areas:
  Problem-Solving and Creativity

  Science in Daily Life

  Application of Language

SAP is a scientifically designed, skill-based assessment developed in India for Indian schools, after a detailed study of the syllabi of different central and state boards. The focus of this test is to assess the understanding of the skills and concepts learnt by the student in the school and not rote study. The tests do not seek to identify the topper, but to provide information on the strengths and weaknesses of individual students and also entire classes.
Last year SAP was conducted across 10 cities and 100 schools, and over 60,000 students participated in it.

Eligibility:
SAP is a scientifically designed diagnostic test that can be taken by children studying in classes 3 to 10, irrespective of the boards in which they study.
