Skill Assessment Report
2007-2008 |
|
What does this report say? |
The first chart conveys the strengths of the student by bringing out his/her top 3 sub skills. Since the test has been taken by thousand of students across the country, the percentile score has been used as a parameter.
The percentile score is a measure of relative position of the student. 90 percentile means that the student is in top 10% of that sub skill.
The second series of charts depict the absolute score compared with the national average. If a student is above average in a skill, it indicates aptitude and good performance in that skill. |
|
Higher scores in a certain skill area may indicate a proclivity towards certain professions, as listed below: |
| Problem-solving and Creativity: Research and development, Engineering, Management, Consultants, Technicians, Teachers, Civil services and other public sector. |
| Science in Daily Life: Medicine, Engineering, Research and development, Teachers, Civil services and other public sector. |
| Application of Language: Journalism, Mass-Media (Print & Audio-visual), Publishing, Literary critics, Teachers. |
|
Disclaimer: |
- The above given scores are based on a comparison of the performance of the child only with the students who took this test.
- Since the students are in their formative years, their aptitude and interests are subject to change as they grow up and acquire more knowledge.
- The scores secured in this test are only indicative of the skills and not an absolute measure of the child’s abilities. Taking these tests over a period of time will give a clearer idea of the strengths and weaknesses of the child.
